I found this on http://www.allrecipes.com/, and it makes the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had! One of the reviewers suggested a couple of changes, so this is the altered version of the original. If you're baking for just a few people, half the recipe.
4 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 (3.4 oz) pkgs instant pudding (any flavor works, I like vanilla)
4 eggs
2 T plus 2 tsp vanilla
4 cups chips
Preheat oven to 350. Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together and set aside. Cream butter and sugars. Add pudding mix, blend. Add eggs and vanilla, blend. Slowly add flour mixture until blended. Stir in chips. Drop spoonfull (or use cookie scoop) onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
